The Head of Process Efficiency and Compliance is responsible for leading efforts to streamline operational processes while ensuring they align with regulatory and compliance standards. This role focusses on driving process optimisation across departments, fostering a culture of compliance, and implementing scalable, efficient workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance, process improvement, and operational management, coupled with the strategic ability to enhance productivity while upholding regulatory integrity.

Your new role

•Process Optimisation and Efficiency:Identify, design, and implement process improvements across the organisation to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.

Establish best practices for operational workflows, continuously monitor key processes, and recommend optimisations for ongoing improvement.

Develop and maintain process documentation, including policies, procedures, and training materials to ensure consistency and scalability.
•Compliance Integration:

Ensure that all operational processes align with relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

Collaborate with compliance, legal, and audit teams to embed compliance checks within critical processes and ensure all changes meet regulatory standards.

Act as a compliance advocate across departments, providing guidance on regulatory implications and best practices for adherence.
•Operational Oversight and Quality Control:

Oversee quality assurance efforts to ensure that optimised processes meet compliance standards and organisational goals.

Design and implement a monitoring and reporting system for process compliance, with metrics and KPIs to track effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Lead internal audits and compliance reviews to assess adherence to standards and address any gaps or areas of risk.
•Stakeholder Engagement and Training:

Work closely with department heads and cross-functional teams to understand operational needs and support process improvement initiatives.

Design and deliver training programs focused on process efficiency, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Ensure key stakeholders are informed of process changes, providing guidance and resources to aid in successful adoption.
•Continuous Improvement and Change Management:

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by championing Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies, and encouraging innovation in process design.

Lead change management efforts to implement new processes, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with organisational objectives.

Regularly review and update processes to stay current with evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum of 8–10 years in operations, process improvement, or compliance, with proven experience leading process optimisation initiatives.
Previous leadership experience in a regulated environment, demonstrating knowledge of compliance requirements and process efficiency techniques.
Strong expertise in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar) and compliance frameworks.
Ability to design scalable processes that balance operational efficiency with regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with a focus on driving results.
