Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and monitor budget forecasts.
• Publish timely financial statements.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely execution of bank payments.
• Compute taxes and prepare accurate tax returns.
• Maintain and manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Provide reports on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
• Audit financial transactions and documents to ensure accuracy.
• Reinforce confidentiality of financial data and perform regular database backups.
• Assist the Senior Accountant with global accounting processes and operations.
• Handle ad hoc financial tasks as required to support the team.

What you'll need to succeed

• 3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE
  (mandatory).
• In-depth knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including
  GAAP.
