Hours of Work: 8.30am – 5.30pm, Sunday to Thursday
Background:
Hays is working with a client; an internal law firm with 27 offices globally.
The firm has four offices in the Middle East; Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai and Riyadh.
The client obtained a foreign law licence last year and is now in the process of building a team in Saudi Arabia. The current role sits within the Business Development & Marking team based in our Riyadh office.

Purpose of the role:
To work as part of the central Middle East Business Development team with specific responsibility for KSA. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the implementation of marketing and business development plans in KSA as part of the wider development of the firm in the Middle East region. Working under the guidance of the Dubai-based BD Manager, Middle East, the role requires a wide portfolio of skills including assisting lawyers in managing client relationships, building the firm’s brand and reputation in the region through the full marketing mix.
Applicants must have experience working in a similar role within KSA and be fluent in both Arabic and English.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Provide day to day support to the KSA partner and lawyer team on the full range of BD initiatives in collaboration with the Dubai-based BD, Bids and Pursuits team.
Ensure effective use of all communication channels, including PR, Out-Law, client e-newsletter, social media, sponsorship opportunities, conferences, research and industry networks. Support the implementation of the region's BD and marketing plans in line with the firm and sector business strategy/objectives, focussing in particular on the development of reputation and key relationships. Supporting the generation of new revenue through maintaining relationships with external bodies, intermediaries and suppliers delivering successful regional events by implementing the full events lifecycle, supporting Relationship Partners in their pursuit, development and maintenance of key clients,supporting the BD components of the Pursuits lifecycle. Support the firm's client relationship management programme and activities, including ensuring relationship plans, as they apply to KSA, are delivered. Support campaigns in the region. Support effective financial management, by monitoring the BD budget in conjunction with the BD Manager.Support on delivery of legal directory and award submissions.Oversee the external profile of the firm in the marketplace including:working with the PR & Comms Manager for EMEA.encouraging lawyer publication on Out-Law.promoting and managing the use of social media.Ensuring top class BD basics are maintained incl. promotion and use of the CRM system, CVs, credentials, marketing collateral, etc. working with the PA and TA team.
Person Specification
Relevant Experience:
Experience of undertaking a similar role in a partnership environment. Preferential to working in an international law firm.
