Your new company

Responsible for performing highly specialised accounting work required to maintain the department’s general ledger. Performs detailed financial analysis of the department’s chart of accounts and financial statements by identifying and analysing unusual variances. Strong support to the controller and provide guidance and leads the team through the complexities of processes, technical accounting matters and extensive supports on all accounting, audits, tax, VAT and other compliance matters.

Your new role

•Support business decisions through financial analysis and problem-solving skills
•Works with the controller and internal control manager to interpret and apply consistent accounting practices
•Ensures a strong control environment across the key business cycles
•Take complete responsibility and guide the team members for internal and external financial and process audits
•Understand the supply chain operations and provide support and guidance to the team on the complex areas and accounting
•Support control on monthly closing and be able to meet all closing deadlines
•Manages the implementation of recommended changes to accounting practices
•Coaches and mentors direct reports; assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback for direct reports

What you'll need to succeed

•University or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
•Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certificate is must
•Must have a Big4 Audit Firm experience (at least 3 years) and strong similar industry/ or other industry experience of at least 5 years
•Team Management experience required
•Knowledge of the latest IFRS is a must
