Hays are currently assisting a leading financial services firm with their search for a financial controller to join their operations based in Abu Dhabi.

Your new role

The financial controller is responsible for carrying out all general accounting and financial reporting activities in accordance to IFRS guidelines and the group's accounting policies and procedures. This role will also be responsible for ensuring timely submission of accurate financial records to facilitate statutory and organisational requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

- Candidates must hold a professional certification (i.e., ACCA, CPA, ACA).
- 10+ years in a similar role within investments or financial institutions
- Strong knowledge of IFRS guidelines (especially IFRS 9).
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Arabic speaking is a plus.
