FP&A Analyst - Dubai

The FP&A Analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to support the organisation's strategic financial goals. This role involves working closely with various departments and line managers to analyse financial data and provide actionable insights.
Your new role
Financial Analysis: Perform in-depth financial analysis to assess the company's financial performance and identify areas for improvement
Financial Analysis: Analyse financial statements, key performance indicators, and other relevant data to make recommendations for optimising financial outcome
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the annual budgeting process by collecting and consolidating budget inputs from different departments
Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the development and maintenance of rolling forecasts to provide visibility into the company's future financial performance
Budgeting and Forecasting: Bridging to compare varying forecasting and budget scenarios
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop templates to provide efficiency in the forecast and budget process
Financial Modelling: Assist line manager in creating and maintaining financial models and a five-year plan to support long-term financial planning, investment decisions, and scenario analysis
Data Reporting: Generate, create, analyse and distribute financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to provide insights to management and stakeholders
Data Reporting: Develop and automate reporting tools to streamline the reporting process
Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis to compare actual financial results with budgeted or forecasted figures
Variance Analysis: Identify and explain significant variances and collaborate with departments to address issues
Cost Analysis: Analyse and monitor costs across the organisation to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency. Analysis is to be performed on a cost and cash basis.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CFA program candidates will be preferred
Strong financial analysis, modelling, and data interpretation skills
Proficiency in financial software and forecasting tools is preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work well in cross-functional teams
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Experience with financial analysis in a corporate setting is a plus.
