Your new role

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive SOC strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Team Management: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of security analysts and engineers.
• Incident Response: Lead and coordinate effective incident response activities, minimizing impact and ensuring timely resolution.
• Threat Detection and Prevention: Implement robust threat detection and prevention measures to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Security Tool Management: Oversee the management and optimization of security tools and technologies.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SOC efficiency and effectiveness.

What you'll need to succeed

• 13+ years of work experience with a minimum of 5 years in SOC management
• Ability to build a SOC from the ground up
• Experience with implementation of automation
• A vision to build a 24/7 SOC
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity operations, threat intelligence, and incident response methodologies
• Strong technical expertise in SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewall management, and other security tools
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC)
