The group Internal Audit Assistant Manager will be directly reporting to the Group Head of Internal Audit for the group. The primary role of the Assistant Manager will be to carry out a portion of the Annual Internal Audit Plan assigned to the staff. The role will also be responsible for working closely with the Internal Audit service providers hired by the IA function to carry out portions of the Annual Internal Audit Plan.

Your new role

• Assist to develop the organization’s yearly audit plan

• Perform construction project audits and process audits, prepare workpapers and audit reports.

• Assist the Group Head of Internal Audit in managing Internal Audit service providers.

• Review workpapers and audit reports of IA service providers.

• Conduct close-out meetings for audit reports.

• Perform follow-up reviews.

• Carry out risk assessment for assigned areas in the organisation.

• Perform Ad-hoc reviews and assist GHIA in investigations.

What you'll need to succeed

• Chartered Accountant/ Certified Internal Auditor

• 4 years experience in a similar role

• Experience in Consulting/ Internal Audit/ Risk Management

• Experience in construction is an added benefit.
