Strategy Professional - Financial Services

My client is a leading venture capital firm focused on investing in innovative startups and high-growth companies. They are committed to supporting visionary entrepreneurs and driving transformative change across various industries.

They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategy Associate Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm (MBB: McKinsey, BCG, Bain) and a background in financial services, either through direct work experience or internships. This role will involve strategic planning, market analysis, and supporting investment decisions to drive the growth and success of portfolio companies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to support the growth and scalability of portfolio companies.
  • Collaborate with senior management to formulate and execute business strategies.
  • Perform financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence for potential investments.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of portfolio companies, providing strategic recommendations for improvement.
  • Support fundraising activities and investor relations efforts.


Qualifications:
  • 4-6 years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain).
  • Proven experience in financial services, either through direct work experience or internships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
