Hays are currently supporting a growing investment firm based in Oman with their search for a Finance Director.

This role is an essential growth hire for the organisation.
A key strategic role that supports the executive team, directing the company’s financial operations, supporting steering the company’s strategic goals and supporting the CEO with new investment opportunities for the business.
Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day financial operations, managing interactions with banks and potential new lenders, ensuring management and statutory reporting are delivered in a timely manner in accordance with policies and procedures, management of annual budgets and target for all existing investments and evaluating new investment opportunities for the business.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, candidates must be qualified finance professionals holding certificates in ACCA, CPA, ACA etc. with a degree in Accounting and Finance Related subjects.

- 5+ years' experience in a senior finance role, preferably in the investment sector.
- Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CMA etc.)
- M&A experience with industrial/manufacturing companies.
- Experience acting as a strategic advisor to c-suite and board members.
