Head of Finance - Angola
Your new company
The Head of Finance Industries is fully responsible for the overall finance & accounting functions of various manufacturing entities in the Group, including financial strategy, innovation, internal controls, working capital management, costing, financial performance & reporting, etc.
Your new role
Work with the senior leaders on the strategic vision of the organisation, including cultivating and fostering strategic relationships and potential alliances, engaging in the growth agenda; collaborating with senior leaders on operational and strategic issues as they arise, providing strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections, and revenue/ expense analysis.
Play a leading role in developing a strategic plan for the Organisation, its implementation and continuous monitoring.
Collaborate across functions on developing the operating budget and rolling forecast; Budgetary control - Regular monitoring of Opex/Capex and monthly reporting on variances & reasons/action plan; Reviewing and analysing operational MIS, trends, and key performance indicators of all functions
Develop and promote a framework to drive financial acumen and accountability across the organisation
Develop a cost structure for each revenue stream; Align costs with performance - Monthly reporting on alignment initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
A qualified Chartered Accountant, CA or CIMA (ICWA India)
At least 15+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major manufacturing organisation, preferably in a process manufacturing FMCG, with managed turnover which crosses USD 100 Million
Working knowledge of SAP preferred
Africa Experience a big plus
You should have experience of collaborating with an executive team and have a high level of written and oral communication skills.
Excellent Leadership and Managerial competencies relevant to Business Strategy, Problem-Solving & Decision-Making.
Collaborating and relationship building to lead and motivate staff to deliver results.
Skilled in examining, developing, re-engineering, and recommending financial policies and procedures.
Ability to work flexibly and under my own initiative to achieve objectives
