Supply Chain Manager, based in Riyadh - Constructon/Real Estate Experience Required

A rapidly expanding real estate and construction organisation, extending its operations throughout the Kingdom. The company specialises in both affordable and luxury residential projects.

Your new role

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the development and execution of supply chain strategy and plans to meet organization’s short-term and long-term material and equipment requirements. The incumbent manages all the aspects of procurement, inventory managment, logistics and distribution.

Key Responsibilities include:

Strategic Planning - Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy that integrates seamlessly with project timelines and company objectives
Project Coordination - Maintain clear communication channels with on-site teams to address any unexpected changes or issues that could impact supply chain operations
Supplier Management - Establish a robust supplier evaluation and selection process to ensure the most reliable and cost-effective partners. Conduct negotiations and oversee contracts with suppliers, addressing terms, pricing, and the expected quality of materials
Inventory Managemen t - Establish a system for tracking the aging and condition of inventory items, implementing first-in, first-out (FIFO) or other appropriate inventory management techniques

Logistics and Distribution - Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks related to transportation delays, customs issues, and other logistics challenges


What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for the Supply Chain Manager position, you must have expertise in the full end-to-end supply chain cycle. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as the role involves working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Experience in the real estate or construction industry is required. As the new Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee a small team of specialists, so prior experience in a management or leadership role is essential.
